What made you go into PR and what do you love most about it?
I’d never had any exposure to PR until my senior year of college when a friend of mine who’d interned at a Boston firm told me he thought I might like it. On a whim, I applied to an internship at the same firm and fell in love with PR pretty quickly.
Unlike other industries that are rigid and cookie-cutter, PR is constantly changing and adapting to the world around it. As the ways in which people digest information change, PR needs to change with it. The formula is never the same from one client to another; and to me, that’s the most exciting part.
What made you select PAN? Initial impressions so far?
PAN has a reputation of being as un-agency-like as an agency can possibly get, and that has always stood out to me. From everything I’ve seen, heard and read, PAN puts employees first and knows that the happier the staff are, the better work they’ll turn out. It’s pretty unique to see a firm that invests so much in employees, both personally and professionally, and that’s what has stood out to me the most.
As far as first impressions go, I walked into the office on my first day to someone making healthy smoothies in the kitchen for the rest of the staff. That pretty much hooked me right off the bat.
Where can we find you on the weekends?
Anywhere but my couch. I get way too antsy doing nothing, so you could probably find me playing beach volleyball, snowboarding, dominating a few games of Kan Jam, or at a beerfest… really anything so long as it doesn’t feel like wasted time!

My favorite movie is Burn After Reading!
