Tell us three fun facts about yourself.

  •  1)  I’ve been speaking Spanish since I was a little kid  and  I’m dying to travel to more Spanish speaking  countries  – my language skills are starting to feel a  little rusty!
  •  2)  I used to competitively Irish step dance – there was  a  giant curly wig involved. All photographic evidence  has  likely been destroyed.
  •  3) I rode a camel on the beach in Morocco during my  semester abroad in college.

What made you go into PR and what do you love  most about it?

I love to write and I love collaborating with others, so it seemed like a logical industry to get into! I love that although there is a lot of individual work, you’re always part of a greater team that is there to provide support and fresh pairs of eyes to get the job done right.

What made you select PAN? Initial impressions so far?

I heard about PAN through a friend who was also considering a career in PR, and I am so glad that I did. I wanted to be able to hit the ground running and take everything in, and already I’ve been able to learn so much about the industry and about tech PR in particular. Right off the bat, everyone has been incredibly welcoming and eager to help this PR newbie get off to a good start.

  2.  2) Netflix consistently asks me if I’m still watching – and I  consistently get offended.
  3.  3) I went skydiving in Cape Town last summer.

What made you go into PR and what do you love  most about it?

I was actually told by a lot of people (professors, friends, etc.) that I should go into PR. So I guess I either took their advice or was peer pressured! I love that it’s so relational and fast-paced – I hate sitting still.

What made you select PAN? Initial impressions so far?

I’d met Phil at an event where he spoke a few years ago. After connecting with him and Liz after the panel, I always had a thought in the back of my mind that maybe I’d end up here! So far, it’s been a blast!

Where can we find you on the weekends?

Doing something (or nothing) with friends. Hiking, coffee shops, and my couch are three of my favorite things.

What made you go into PR and what do you love most about it?

I originally wanted to become a journalist but after taking a couple of  classes in college, I realized that the industry did not allow me be as  creative as I’d like. Consequently, I found myself taking Communication and PR classes and fell in love! I’m also particularly interested in social media and how it affects our daily lives.

What made you select PAN? Initial impressions so far?

There were many reasons why I decided to go with PAN. The tie-breaker for me was definitely the size of the company. I wanted to work at an agency but also wanted to make sure that I would be able to have a say in my work. I know that the PR industry can be very cut-throat but working at PAN has felt like working with family. So far, everyone has been so welcoming and super friendly! People want you to succeed here.

Where can we find you on the weekends?

You can find me roaming the streets of Boston, exploring and shopping in quaint little markets or sailing when the weather is nice and sunny outside.

Fill in the blanks

My favorite restaurant is Trattoria Il Panino in the North End (Their raviolis are to die for!)
