Wonder what PAN Communication's Account Executive Paige Verducci is like outside of work? Find out in the post of our Inside PAN's Tech PR Team series!
1. If you could hang out with one TV character for a day, who would it be?
Olivia Pope. If you don’t watch Scandal, you’re missing out. Olivia takes the town of Washington DC and turns it into her own world of fighting for power. While she fights to win client cases, she is distracted by the president and his romantic charm. I would love to learn the ways of Miss Pope and use them within my daily work.
2. What is your favorite weekend activity?
Traveling to hidden places in the Bay Area with my mom is one of my favorite weekend activities. She is a photographer so we’re always searching for unique spots for her to capture the moment. One of my favorite places we’ve been to is Big Sur where we hiked through the mountains to secret waterfalls or outlooks.
3. What is something people would be surprised to know about you?
Some people might be surprised to know that I dance classical ballet, and have since I was 4 years old. My passion for dance stemmed at an early age and has never died down. I’m currently involved in a non-profit organization, Movement Exchange, that helps less fortunate children learn about the outlet of dance. In 2012, I had the opportunity to travel to Panama and teach dance throughout the country, while also taking classes from the natives as well.
4. What’s something you would like to learn that’s on your bucket list?
I would love to learn how to play the piano. Coming from a classical ballet background, I’ve also wanted to be able to play the piano and write my own music. I hope to learn and write a song I could see performed on the stage. Oh! And it’d be pretty rad to just take a seat at the piano in Nordstrom’s and play a quick song.
5. What is your favorite piece of advice someone has given you?
“Leave it all at the door,” something that was said often within the ballet room. Being able to separate your outside life and work is something that is extremely important and has helped me carry on throughout life. When you have the ability to just work from your heart and not think of other things, you produce more passionate work.
