PAN Heads to Syracuse for Annual Social Media Roundtable

Jessica Payne

Next week, I’ll have the honor of hosting my second social media roundtable at Syracuse University, an annual influencer event now in its fourth year. The panel is for students; graduating PR and Communications seniors who have grown up in a social media world and now embarking on their careers. This year’s panel will focus on the practical do’s and don’ts for those entering the workforce, but also take a look at emerging trends like content, credibility and crisis, aka social media firestorms. There’s something about Syracuse students that always blows me away – their tenacity, hunger for real-life information and hands-on experience – and I couldn't be more excited to meet them again this year. I hope they’ll learn from me as much as I’ll learn from them.

My panelists this year include three incredibly talented experts with backgrounds ranging from public service and UX programming development to analytics and content:

  • Ari Herzog, Principal at Digital AH (@AriHerzog)
  • Meghan Casey, Principal UX Designer at The Nerdery (@Meghscase)
  • Jeff Pyatt, Head of Global PR Initiatives at Outbrain (@JeffPyatt)

If you’re hungry for content, insight and to learn from the best, follow them on Twitter if you’re not already doing so.
