Vantage PR’s Trophy Shelf Gets Tighter With Two Wins in One Week

Tech PR agency honored by The American Business Awards for its outstanding PR campaign, and by the Orlando Business Journal as a Best Place to Work

San Francisco, Calif. July 7, 2015 – For the third time in as many years, Vantage PR took home a Stevie trophy, awarded by The American Business Awards, for its exemplary work in the public relations industry. The PR field has evolved rapidly in recent years, and the latest win underscores Vantage’s ability to evolve and continue to deliver the results clients need. For this year’s program, which attracted more than 3,300 applicants, Vantage won Silver based on its PR campaign for international cloud communications company, Voxbone. In the same week, Vantage was also named one of the Orlando Business Journal’s Best Places to Work, and the only PR agency in the small business division’s top five winners to be honored.

What did it take to add the coveted Silver statue to Vantage’s growing trophy collection? The team used several tactics to successfully expand Voxbone’s presence into the U.S. market. From garnering positive coverage of Voxbone’s WebRTC service and notable customer wins in top U.S. media such as Light Reading, No Jitter, and RCR Wireless, to securing key speaking opportunities and top-tier contributed article placements for Voxbone executives – the Vantage team stopped at nothing to meet its goals. This success is evidenced by the numbers: Voxbone’s website experienced a 54.45 percent increase in new organic users in the first six months of working with Vantage.

“A key factor to our success for this campaign is that we understand how potential customers think, a value we bring to all of our clients. We knew that to attract more visitors to Voxbone’s website, we would need a PR trifecta: customer news, smart insights from Voxbone executives, and cutting edge product news,” noted Lydia Howard, vice president at Vantage PR and lead on this campaign. “To be recognized nationally for doing work we love is quite an honor, and we look forward to continuing to serve as an example of success for our peers in the PR field.”

Vantage is also celebrating its recognition by Orlando Business Journal as a Best Place to Work, standing out among nominations from more than 8,000 employees in Central Florida. Vantage shined above other local employers due to its professional development initiatives, company rewards program, and dedication to company culture.

According to Kirsten Ashton, an account executive based in the Orlando office, “One of my favorite things about Vantage is the company’s genuine commitment to employees, which is evident in things like our monthly ‘Lunch on Vantage,’ where we get to relax and spend time together over a good meal, to the professional development webinars we’re given stipend to take. The leadership team supports us in every way possible, from Orlando-based Vice President Katie Blair to our CEO Ilene Adler in San Francisco.”
