There’s no doubt that PAN Communications has had an incredible year. We’ve experienced it all from acquisitions, to holiday festivities, tradeshows that we’ve attended, and new employees joining our Boston, San Francisco and Orlando offices.

To celebrate the wonderful year we’ve had, here’s a countdown of our top 10 blog posts:

  1. Top 20 Influencers to Follow: MarTech Conference 2016

MarTech Conference was a hit this year in March. As the event got closer and closer we started keeping an eye on top MarTech industry influencers like: Scott Brinker, the Founder of the MarTech Conference; Jake Sorofman, Gartner Analyst and Ted Rubin, social media strategist.

Later in the year, we even sat down with a few of these influencers including our EVP, Mark Nardone who was able to discuss the growing development of the modern marketer’s role, the empowered customer and their experience in his ongoing series “insight with Experts.”

  1. Stay on the Pulse of #RSAC: The Top 25 Security Influencers to Follow

RSAC is a big event for PAN employees as we have numerous clients attending each year and it’s important for us to stay on top of press attending these events, as well as top influencers. Following and keeping up with the likes of USA Today reporter, Elizabeth Weise and Thomas Fox Brewster from Forbes helps us stay well informed of top security trends before they even hits the news.   1. From One Bridge to Another: Adjusting to a San Francisco Lifestyle

This year, one of our Boston employees decided to take advantage of PAN’s fantastic perk of working from a different office location. She decided to travel to San Francisco for an adventurous time in a new city. Learn all about Lauren Winer’s experience in San Francisco and what she loves most about working from PAN’s West Coast office. 

  1. Vantage PR Officially Integrates with PAN Communications

PAN Communications just celebrated it’s one year anniversary of acquiring SF-based PR firm Vantage PR. PAN has had some memorable times working cross-office this year and meeting several new friendly faces. Why not take it   back to where it all began? PAN’s CEO, Phil Nardone quotes Howard Schultz in his article, saying “When you’re surrounded by people who share a passionate commitment around a common purpose, anything is possible.” Definitely relevant as we look back on a successful year.

As part of the integration and to celebrate having several amazing and different office locations, PAN decided to have a friendly photo contest at the beginning of the year to see who could demonstrate each city the best. Take a look at Boston’s picture above as well as San Francisco and Orlando’s pictures below! You’ll also find quotes from employees divulging why they love working at their particular office location.

  1. From one bridge to another: Introducing the latest PAN benefit

Lauren Winer wasn’t the only one that enjoyed PAN’s perk of working out of a different office location. PAN’s Senior Account Supervisor, Katelyn Campbell, made it all the way out to San Francisco for the Summer. Her blog post talks about all of the new people she got to meet, some sightseeing and of course attending networking events to make the most of her trip!

  1. PAN Makes BBJ FAST 50

PAN had an amazing year in terms of award wins. One of the earlier ones that occurred this year was The Boston Business Journal’s top 76 fastest growing companies in Massachusetts, with PAN ranking #50. Some other award wins that we are proud of this year include: Boston Globe’s Top Places to Work, PR News’ Top Places to Work, Orlando Business Journal’s Top Places to Work, the Stevie awards honoring PAN with a Bronze win for “Company of the Year” in the Advertising, Marketing & Public Relations category, The Holmes Report acknowledging PAN with the Best Small Agency to Work for award, and finally being recognized for Product Launch and Tradeshow/Event PR from PR News.

Another exciting event this year was the big move to a new office location in San Francisco – 100 California St. We have had several visitors in the office since this move in June, and the PAN team couldn’t be happier to have such a strong west coast presence for our employees, clients and prospects.
